


Electrical Engineering Department
The Department of Electrical Engineering is one of the primary departments in the College of Engineering. Since its establishment in 1993, the department has been committed to providing rigorous education in electrical engineering that aligns with labor market requirements. This is achieved through an integrated theoretical curriculum supported by practical application across various engineering laboratories, covering core areas such as Electrical Engineering Fundamentals, Electronics, Computers, Control, Communications, as well as Electrical Power and Machines. The department has played a significant role in supplying governmental and educational institutions with competent, scientifically qualified engineers capable of developing solutions for diverse engineering challenges.
The faculty consists of a distinguished elite of academics who have earned their postgraduate degrees from top-tier international universities across various countries, bringing extensive expertise in both teaching and scientific research. Furthermore, the department offers a Master’s degree program, which has further strengthened the faculty by fostering high-caliber personnel from within the department's ranks.

Prepare men and women to be successful as Electrical engineers in terms of technical and personal abilities.

Be able to pursue graduate studies and dedicate to continuing professional growth and long-life learning through bridging engineering and non-engineering professions.
i) An ability to distinguish, identify, define, formulate, and solve engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science and mathematics.
ii) An ability to produce engineering designs that meet desired needs within certain constraints by applying both analysis and synthesis in the design process.
iii) An ability to create and carry out proper measurement and tests with quality assurance, analyze and interpret results, and utilize engineering judgment to make inferences.
iv) An ability to skillfully communicate orally with a gathering of people and in writing with various managerial levels
v) An ability to perceive ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering cases and make brilliant judgments taking into account the consequences in worldwide financial, ecological and societal considerations.
vi) An ability to perceive the continual necessity for professional knowledge growth and how to find, assess, assemble and apply it properly.
