Acceptance
The admission process is based on the following points:
1- The student's success in the competitive entrance exam
2- An interview by a special committee to assess the student's suitability for study
3- Issuance of the university admission order, followed by the administrative admission order
4- Issuance of an administrative order to commence studies

The holder of higher degrees from the engineers is a solid scientific and evaluative reference entrusted with evaluating scientific research in the field of engineering in its various specializations through the college’s journal (Tikrit Journal of Engineering Sciences), which is the most important gateway for researchers interested in evaluating their research according to the best international standards that add to and enrich the research by benefiting from the experiences of the evaluators from the distinguished professors of the college. If this indicates anything, it indicates the good reputation of the college and its professors in society.

Graduation
To obtain a graduation certificate:
1. The student submits an application through the Dean's Assistant for Academic Affairs.
2. Four (4) color passport-size photographs with a white background.
3. The cover of the thesis or dissertation in both Arabic and English.
4. A copy of the passport.
5. A copy of the national identity card.
Fees and financial obligations.
The fields of work for engineers with higher degrees, whether higher diploma, master's, or doctorate, are very broad and include all fields of work for engineers with primary degrees, with their different specializations, such as the medical field, the agricultural field, the field of security and safety, the environmental field, the industrial field, projects, electricity companies, consulting offices, designs, factories, and the field of management. In addition, they are qualified to carry out training and development work for engineering personnel and prepare curricula and training programs. As for the academic side and scientific research, it constitutes the most widespread field among engineers with higher degrees, with their different specializations.
