Enhancing the role of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division to be a distinctive element in improving the administrative and academic performance of the College of Engineering

Achieving continuous improvement in performance at both the administrative and academic levels, through a comprehensive self-assessment of all aspects of the college, leading to the desired goals.

1. To promote a culture of self-evaluation within the college.

2. To instill a culture of continuous improvement among the college's faculty and staff.

3. To achieve excellence among engineering colleges in Iraq in the areas of quality and self-evaluation.

4. To meet the requirements for international academic accreditation of the college's programs.

5. To align academic curricula with the needs of the job market.

6. To enhance communication with employers to monitor graduate performance and develop academic programs.

• Representing the college before quality assurance and academic accreditation bodies.
• Developing the necessary policies and guidelines to achieve the college's objectives.
• Forming committees and task forces to implement improvement plans.
• Building integrated systems to evaluate and improve the performance of faculty members and administrative staff.
• Implementing continuous self-evaluation for all academic programs.
• Establishing incentives to encourage excellence and quality.
• Organizing training programs in the areas of quality and performance.
• Monitoring departments' adherence to quality standards and submitting periodic reports.
• Evaluating departments' community service activities and providing consultations.

• Setting Quality Standards: Define academic and administrative standards to ensure quality.

• Reviewing and Approving Curricula (Quality of Academic Education): Work with academic departments to review curricula and ensure their alignment with quality requirements and labor market needs.

• Conducting Internal Quality Reviews: Organize periodic reviews and evaluations of departments to verify compliance with quality standards.

• Coordinating with Accreditation Bodies: Work with local and international accreditation bodies to achieve academic accreditation.

The tasks of this unit include:

• Developing performance indicators: Creating key performance indicators (KPIs) for academic and administrative performance.

• Analyzing performance: Collecting and analyzing academic and administrative performance data to identify strengths and weaknesses.

• Conducting periodic performance evaluations: Performing periodic performance evaluations and reporting to management on progress and required improvements.

• Providing feedback: Providing feedback to departments based on the results to guide continuous improvement.
